Ribfest Calendar:
- Pickering: June 1-3, 2018 at Esplanade Park
- Bowmanville: June 8-10, 2018 at Clarington Fields
- Whitby: July 6-8, 2018 across from Iroquois Arena (203-269 Victoria St W)
- Oshawa: August 17-19, 2018 at Lakeview Park
Ajax:
- Ajax Home Week is on from June 11-17, 2018 and celebrates everything Ajax has to offer including multicultural events, activities for all ages and is typically capped off with a fireworks display
- Celebrate Canada Day with the Town of Ajax. This event has to a family portion from 11 am – 3 pm at the Ajax Waterfront and the day is finished off with more fun and fireworks at Ajax Downs from 6 – 10 pm
- Music in the Square is a free concert series held at Heritage Square and runs alternating Wednesdays through July and August
Bowmanville:
- Maple Festival: Satisfy your sweet tooth with freshly harvested Canadian maple syrup and partake in many other family-friendly activities on Saturday, May 5, 2018
- Summerfest & Food Truck Friday turns downtown Bowmanville into a rocking street party full of classic cars, live music, sidewalk sales and of course, food and drinks galore
Brooklin:
- Brooklin Spring Fair: Celebrating agriculture and attractions for over 100 years. The Brooklin Spring Fair runs from May 31 – June 3, 2018
Oshawa:
- Peony Festival held at Children’s Arena from June 9-10 boasts over 300 different peonies, live music, local artisans, lots of food and gardening seminars
- Concerts in the Park free summer series held at Memorial Park Bandshell. The events kick-off in late June and consist of the Oshawa Civic Band Concert Series, Concerts in the Park, Movie Night in the Park and the Summer Night Market
- Celebrate Canada’s Birthday at Lakeview Park with games, rides and activities for all ages, live music and fireworks
Pickering:
- Pickering Farmers’ Market: Get your food from local vendors all summer long. The Pickering Farmers’ Market opens in June and runs through until the beginning of October
- Petticoat Creek Food Truck Festival: Head on down to the Petticoat Creek Conservation Area for lots of food and fun in the sun!
- Artfest On The Esplanade takes place on May 26, 2018. Indulge your senses as you explore a variety of mediums showcased by artists from all over Ontario
Whitby:
- Whitby In Bloom Garden Tour showcases the gorgeous properties that Whitby has to offer while giving back to the community through food bank donations
- Fresh Air In The Square urges residents to come out and get their groove on! A Zumba class will be held each Thursday from July 13 – August 24
